Went to Ikea last Sunday to get some kitchen utensils.. After that we had our dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co Restaurant. It’s our first time dine there, we not sure what are their signature dishes. But then we just based on the menu to order. For starter we ordered Run Across America Sampler, main course is Bourbon Street Baramundi and last but not least dessert; “That Chocolate Thing”. I was wondering why they called this cause its sounds funny to me. Hehe anyway, hb and I enjoyed our dinner. Starter is a platter with Bubba’s Far Out Dip and Chips, Chilly Shrimp, spicy Chicken Strips, Hush Pups (Tasty Shrimp and Fish with golden Corn, deep fried and served with a Remoulade Dippin’ Sauce) and Mama Blue’s Fried Shrimp. The main course is Charbroiled Cajun spiced Baramundi with Bourbon Sauce and grilled Shrimp, served over Mashed Potatoes. Dessert is warm chocolate cake top with vanilla ice-cream; this is so so so delicious. After dinner, we are thinking to go home but then I saw there was sales at Debenhams. I quickly walk-in and see what are the items on sales. Lastly I managed to get 2 pairs of pants and a top. So happy! This is how we spent our Sunday!

Tonite I cook Mee Suah soup for dinner. I seldom cook soupy noodles other than instant noodles or mee huen kuen (pan mee). Nothing to say anymore..

I like to listen to online radio recently but not to local radio station..  because I found out that HK radio station, RTHK are more interesting. Not that I don’t support local station but I can learn/know more things from RTHK station. I get to know about weibo (微博) through this station and to my surprise, many artist/singer are playing weibo as well. From there, I can know  their current status, what they doing, what they eating.. and etc. Weibo is like Twitter just that weibo is in Chinese. So if some of you are playing weibo please 关注 (follow) me..

Fried rice for lunch.. as I really don’t know what to eat at my office area. Everyday also facing same problem, need to think what to eat for lunch.. until I was so fed up already.. so I rather woke up early in the morning to cook lunch for myself and hubby.. but hope that I won’t feel lazy and stop cooking..

Went for movie, Ironman 2.. ya.. watched it again.. hehe.. and again it’s free.. haha.. thanks to my friend who gave me the free tickets.  After the movie, we couldn’t think of what’s for dinner.. then finally we decided to have Nando’s. Yeah.. Long time didn’t have Nando’s.. and the taste is still good..

Yesterday didn’t manage to cook for dinner as hubby said he is very very hungry, so we decided to eat out…. KFC. Tried their new flavor, Black Pepper Crunch… Well, not bad though for those who likes black pepper.. other than that not so much different than the normal Hot & Spicy flavor.

Yesterday is hubby off day, so I get him to boil the soup for dinner. I usually only boil soup on weekends because weekdays hard to do so and I don’t like use slow cooker to boil soup as the soup not as tasty as normal boiling. I’ve prepared most of the ingredients and just get hubby to boil it. Yesterday just prepared simple dinner, 3 dishes + 1 soup. Initially I planned to cook 2 dishes + soup but hubby wanted to eat luncheon meat, so added the luncheon meat (well this was fry by hubby). Thanks hubby!

Celebrated Mother’s Day at this steamboat restaurant called Mo Mo Paradise located at Bandar Menjalara. It’s a buffet style steamboat. Overall not bad, soup based is ok. They got 3 types of soup; seafood soup, tom yam soup and clear soup. They actually serves the Alot of selections, got slice beef, slice pork, slice chicken; the meat is very thinly slice so very nice. They also serves unlimited drinks. And ice-cream as well. On and off they will serve some cooked foods like fried crabmeat ball, taiwan sausages, and rice with minced meat. The rice is quite nice. Price is RM25 for adult and children is half price.

Made some Yong Tauhu (but no tauhu); only beancurds (fu chuk), eggplants & tauhu pok with fish paste which I bought last Saturday. My 1st time making these, found out that not easy to “yong” eggplant.. because in order to fill the eggplant with the paste, need to hold wide the eggplant and fill up which is quite troublesome as you only got a pair of hands.. Well, overall I’m happy with the outcome, tasty.. Yum Yum Yummy….
